Martin Statham
PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer
Martin is a self confessed adrenaline junkie. Before he started diving he was involved in a variety of active hobbies such as mountaineering, rock climbing, martial arts and so diving was another adventure sport for him to try.
Diving turned into more than just a one-off taster for Martin though and his love for the sport soon took its grip on him, especially on a holiday to the Red Sea soon after he qualified.
Since qualifying he has never looked back and in the last 12 months has completed over 200 dives. He has realized his potential as a dive coach and mentor and has completed the PADI Instructor Development course and PADI Instructor Exam with excellent results. Sub-Mission are proud to have the services of Martin as a member of the instructional team

She completed both the PADI Advanced & PADI Rescue Diver courses and broadened her knowledge, skills and confidence by successfully completing PADI's prestigious Master Scuba Diver award.
In November 2007, Dawn changed direction with her diving and achieved a milestone by completing her PADI Divemaster training along side Jasmin and Martin.
In her valued role as a PADI Divemaster, Dawn draws on her own training experiences to teach and assist others to overcome problems.

As an accomplished technical diver, Lyndon is a wreck junkie and loves nothing more than rummaging around inside wrecks, especially those virtually untouched deeper wrecks. Having completed his Advanced Trimix course in 2009, Lyndon was the 1st club member to have reached the mind boggling depths of 100 metres.
Lyndon has a passion for the sport and his knowledge and experience of diving is a valuable asset to the Sub-Mission team.
Completing the PADI Assistant Instructor Course early in 2010, Lyndon performed brilliantly during the PADI IDC & PADI Instructor Exam to become Sub-Mission's latest PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. Sub-Mission will certainly benefit from his new found skills, allowing the dive centre to offer flexible week day courses.

Richard Halfpenny
PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
Rich began diving in 2004 after signing up, along with his wife Claire, for a PADI Open Water course with Sub-Mission. Having successfully completed the course he went to Egypt where he completed the PADI Advanced Open Water course. Already hooked he really thought it could not get better…
....but it did. A seemingly innocuous dive off the back of Jackson reef led to one of his most memorable diving experiences, an encounter with Hammerhead sharks. Only 10 dives into a career and a lifelong memory set in stone.
Coming back from Egypt saw more diving and continued education, various specialties, and PADI Rescue Diver certifications led him to Divemaster. Once He started working hands on with students he realized where the future lay. Skip forward to March 2006 and he completed the PADI Instructor exams, and you have his current qualification of PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor.

Steve Revelle
PADI Divemaster
Back in 2007 Steve had the choice of going on another Tall ship voyage or to try something new. After hearing about Sub-mission on the local radio he decided to give Scuba diving a go.
"I was always watching the wildlife programs on TV, especially the marine ones, with the sharks and the manta rays and thought how cool it would be to see them 1st hand"
After completing the PADI Open Water course, Steve was well & truely bitten by the bug. Having completed the PADI Rescue Diver and EFR programs, Steve has built an enormous level of experience, diving at every opportunity & furthering his diving education by completing many PADI Specialty programs to gain the elite Master Scuba Diver rating.
After several years of recreational diving, Steve finally decided to Go Pro by enrolling onto the PADI Divemaster program.
" I decided to complete the PADI Divemaster program to payback the Instructors, Divemaster’s and club divers who have helped me since I started diving and pass that knowledge on.
From a February morning in Stoney Cove, to drift dive in the Menia Strait, wreck dives in the Sound of Mull, diving with hammerhead sharks of Jackson reef-Red Sea, the adventure goes on.
Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks".
