The Jump/Gap Reel is used to make a connection between two permanent guidelines in a cave or to jump from the main line to offshoot lines.
It comes with 50-feet of durable braided #24 line and a medium stainless bolt snap. The "no handle" design makes it easy to carry multiple reels for complex dive planning where multiple line gapping is required.
The Jump/Gap Reel is ideal for use in high flow cave systems where it can be paid in/out very quickly versus plain spools.
The reel spool is held in place with a stainless steel "C" clip so replacing the spool or cleaning up a jammed reel is simple.
