The ATX40/DS4 features a smaller, lighter, lower profile 2nd stage than the older TX40 2nd stage.

So the ATX40 retains our well proven diver adjustable venturi together with a 'technician-adjustable' balanced second stage and balanced first stage. The combination of this second stage and the DRY SEALED first stage offers an excellent regulator for diving anywhere in the world at a very competitive price. The Northern Diver Cylinder Clamp System is manufactured from highly durable, lightweight materials.

With the Pony Bottle Quick-Release System, the pony cylinder can be coupled to the main air cylinder quickly and easily.

Half of the system is permanently attached to the pony cylinder, while the other half is secured to the BCD cylinder strap.

The Northern Diver system has rubber mounts to protect the cylinder and attached is very secure and rattle free.
