Held locally at Blythe Bridge High school, Sub-Mission Dive School (Stoke) are able to accommodate individuals or groups. For certified divers, SubMission Dive School (Stoke), offers a wide range of PADI continuing education diving courses. Extend your depth limit to 30 metres & explore fascinating wrecks during the PADI Advanced Open Water course or immerse yourself with rescue and First Aid techniques during the PADI Rescue Diver and EFR (Emergency First Response) courses.

Something Different

Sub-Mission Dive Centre is proud to be able to offer diver training on the fully automatic Poseidon MKVI Discovery Rebreather. If you are new to diving or have many years of diving experience the innovative Poseidon Rebreather will open up a whole new world of recreational scuba diving.

Our team of PADI Poseidon Rebreather Instructors are able to offer a full range of rebreather dive courses from try dives to Poseidon Rebreather Instructor programs. The new PADI Recreational Rebreather Courses are available at Sub-Mission and are an exciting opportunity to dive on a rebreather to experience the fantastic benefits.

Sub-Mission also offers technical scuba diving courses for those looking to take the challenge of decompression diving to extend both time & depth in order to explore those untouched wrecks. These courses include PADI Tec Basics, PADI Tec 40, PADI Tec 45, PADI Tec 50 & PADI Self Reliant Diver.

As dive equipment evolves, so do the methods of delivering diver training programs. Sub-Mission dive centre strives to offer flexibility, offering PADI Tec programs utilising the traditional Twinset configuration, or the evolving Rebreather & Sidemount systems.

All of our dive experiences & PADI dive courses are available to book on-line 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This enables our customers to book courses at a time convenient to them, so no more waiting for the dive centre to open.

SubMission Dive Club (Stoke) is a great way to meet new dive buddies, develop dive skills & gain valuable diving experience. The dive club welcomes divers & snorkellers from any certifying agency, (PADI, BSAC, IANTD, TDI, NAUI, SSI, ANDI, PSA) and offers an opportunity to refresh and practice dive skills, try out new dive equipment or catch up with dive buddies.

Become AWARE

Project AWARE conservation activities are high on the agenda at the Dive Centre. We are keen on promoting environmental issues, raising awareness and funds for marine charities and trying to conserve & improve the marine environment for the generations to come.Sub-Mission Dive Centre have been awarded numerous certificates of recognition from Project AWARE, acknowledging our commitment and passion for marine conservation.

Sub-Mission continuously looks for new activities to get snorkelers and divers involved in conservation efforts. Sub-Mission dive centre has been instrumental in organising beach clean ups, behind the scenes tours of local Sea Life Centres, organising recycling initiatives & raising money & awareness for Project AWARE and the Shark Trust.  

The Dive Centre is a hub for conservation education, with regular Project AWARE Specialty programs being conducted. These programs educate and inform about the degradation of the coral reefs, the littering of our shores and the depletion of fish stocks, encouraging participants to make a difference.

Equipment Servicing

Sub-Mission dive centre offers a full dive equipment servicing and repairs service, employing the expertise of the industry’s leading IDEST approved technicians. We offer servicing for drysuits, dive computers, scuba regulators, diving BCD's & diving cylinders.

If you accidently rip your neck seal on a trip or need your regulators servicing before a holiday, Sub-Mission will endeavour to get your equipment properly serviced as fast as possible. We’ll even send you a reminder when your equipment is due its next inspection.

Diving Services

Sub Mission Dive Center offers additional diver services to the local Stoke-On-Trent area. We have a wide selection of quality, well maintained Scuba diving equipment available for hire at competitive prices. Our large inventory of hire equipment includes Poseidon, Apeks, Aqualung, Northern Diver & Suunto & is available to hire on a daily, weekend of weekly basis.

Air, Nitrox (Enriched Air Nitrox) & Trimix fills are available up-to 300 bar from our state of the art Coltri Sub Membrane Nitrox compressor system. Partial pressure gas blending is available for those high percentage deco & rebreather gas mixes. Our gas blending system utilises a Haskel booster pump, reducing the need to empty cylinders, which can be an expensive and wasteful way of gas blending.

Our Air, Nitrox & Trimix prices are extremely competitive with discounts for Sub-Mission dive club members.

Location

The Dive shop, (scuba shop) is centrally located on the outskirts of Hanley City Centre, heading towards Central Forest Park & Birches Head (behind Richer Sounds TV Shop) and is easily accessible from the surrounding Staffordshire Moorlands, Cheshire & Shropshire areas. We offer free onsite parking so you won’t have to waste time looking for and squeezing into a space or walk a long way with your dive cylinder when you come in to get an air fill.

Open 6 days a week from 10am daily our friendly, knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer advice and answer any of your questions. Why not come along for a coffee and some impartial advice about any aspect of your diving needs!
